About the Winter Learning Retreat
The Winter Learning Retreat is a unique 10-day program for male college and graduate students to dedicate their winter break to immersive Jewish learning. Guided by top educators, participants delve into the foundations of Judaism, exploring texts, ideas, and practices that shape Jewish identity.
Set in cozy lodgings amidst winter landscapes and near New York’s top ski slopes, the retreat combines rigorous study with opportunities to ski, relax, and form lifelong friendships with fellow Jewish students.
The program goes beyond the classroom: participants discover what it means to be a young Jewish man, husband, and father, and learn how to raise and inspire a Jewish family. Through challenging ideas and meaningful discussion, students deepen their understanding of their heritage, develop confidence and literacy in Jewish thought, and gain the tools to pass the torch to the next generation
